Accurate Damage Assessments are critical for informed decision making by cities and counties to prioritize relief effort and reimbursement after a major event. GeoCove offers field data collection applications, using the latest GIS technology, to collect, map and report damage assessment information as well as community needs.
The Incident Inventory Control (I2C) tool's primary function is to assess the condition of structures after a disaster event. It provides a method for local governments and other reporting agencies to rapidly determine the extent of the damage in their respective communities. This gives decision makers the critical information they need to efficiently prioritize and deploy resources as well as document evidence for disaster declarations and public and private assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA).
